How To Collaborate With Registered Dietitians

Jennifer McGurk, RD, struggled with an eating disorder in high school, college and through her dietetic internship. It wasn't until she went to therapy that she discovered intuitive eating and her personal resilience. She was impacted so much that it became her mission to help people heal from dieting and feel fabulous about food.

Now, as a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian, Jennifer combines her expertise in medical nutrition therapy, psychology, and physiology to help clients understand their eating behaviors, and gain the insight needed to make positive changes for their health.

She is the owner of Eat With Knowledge, a private practice, in Nyack, NY and the creator of the online course Feel Fabulous About Food which teaches clients all about eating disorder recovery and intuitive eating.

Jennifer also helps Dietitians, Clinicians and other Wellness Professionals build their own businesses. Pursuing Private Practice is the arm of her business that helps others get their own private practice up and running to achieve their own success. She is the author of two books, Pursuing Private Practice: 10 Steps to Start Your Own Business and Pursuing Private Practice: 10 Steps to Grow Your Own Business. She is also the creator and instructor of the Pursuing Private Practice Masterclass E-course, now available to professionals.

And on today's episode, we discuss how Talk Therapists and RDs can best collaborate when treating clients with eating disorders. We hope you enjoy this episode!
