Holistic Counseling Training Series with Chris McDonald, LCMHCS

There is much confusion and uncertainty about the legal and ethical considerations of using holistic strategies with clients. How do we know if we are competent to use these? Can we use these strategies legally and ethically? These and other questions will be addressed.  The last training is one that is near and dear to my heart. Many times you give too much of yourself and you end up feeling burned out. This training will address ways to build more solid boundaries emotionally, physically, and energetically.
The trainings can be purchased as a bundle for $130 or individually for $50 each.

Have you been wanting to add yoga into your clinical sessions but are unsure how to get started? Are you uncertain how to keep it trauma informed and when to integrate it? This is not something you are taught in graduate school! In this training, you will learn the powerful benefits of using basic slow, mindful yoga, breath work, and meditation with clients to help reduce anxiety and depression.

Do you hesitate to integrate holistic modalities into sessions because of uncertainty with ethical and legal concerns? Does this cause you worry and unease? In this training we will explore how to protect yourself against liability as a holistic therapist. You will learn more about scope of practice vs. scope of competence.

Many of us feel stretched thin especially with so many more demands in our lives both personally and professionally.  In this field it can be hard to offer space for clients when we feel so much overwhelm in our own lives. As caring professionals, we give and give to others and don’t leave much room for ourselves. In this training, you will learn how to start self-care boundaries daily with your time and energy. You will learn how to set emotional boundaries, physical boundaries and energetic boundaries. Through hands on practices, you will discover ways to fill yourself up and stay grounded so you can boost your overall wellness. This allows you to be most effective with the clients you serve.
